switching between open documents

Dave

Hello all,
I've been trying to figure out a good way to switch
between open documents in Word. In Corell's WordPerfect,
all you have to do is click on a document bar at the
bottom of the screen. Does anyone happen to know how to
do this in Word 97?

The only way I can seem to do it minimize the first doc.,
then enlarge the second document. For the kind of writing
I do, when I have to cut and paste between documents, this
really gets old. WordPerfect is better. I would think at
least Word would have a shortcut key for this but I've
searched and can't find it.

Any insight would be a big help to me --
Dave

In Word, click on Window, then click on the document you want to switch to.

Use the command NextWindow, Ctlr+F6.

However, I use that command so often that I reassigned it to an easier
keystroke, Alt+N.
