Switch user

On a home pc with four accounts, I have lost the ability to go Start Logoff
Switch User and have it do it. I have to entirely logoff the first account
(ie logoff logoff) to get the list of accounts and log in as another.

Does anyone know how to regain this ability?

First check Control Panel, Users applet and verify the Fast User
Switching is enabled. Once enabled, the Service should be set to
Automatic & status Started. You can check the Service state by
Start, Run (Type) Services.Msc [Enter]
Once open, maximize and click the "Standard" view Tab at the
bottom of the console. You should see "Fast User Switching" in
the alphabetical table.
On the Users applet in Control Panel - you need to use the option
"Change How Users log...." to get access to Fast User Switching.
