switch powermanagement off and on

Hello,

I'd like to do something like this (pseudo code)
with VB .NET for CF 1.0:

- get the current power management settings
- turn off power management (so that it doesn't interfere with my
operations)
- do something nice...
- restore the old powermanagement settings to switch it on again

Is this possible? If yes, how?

What do you mean by power management settings? Timeouts, voltage, speed...?
