Switch from Workgroup to Domain using Registry.

Is it possible? We are on a Novell network here and no Windows domain exists
yet, so the users are just a member of a common workgroup. However, soon we
are wanting to switch to Active Directory and I was wondering if there might
be a nice little registry "hack" that would throw that switch from Workgroup
to Domain and be able to specify the Domain. I'm also wondering if this is
even gonna work because I'm gonna have to keep the Novell client installed
because it handles mapping network drives, connecting to printers, and
Groupwise. Can any lend advice or possibly point to a good resource other
that Novell's forum (which I'm not too fond of.) Thanks. -Beav

First, make sure that all your Windows Xp are "Professional and not Home.
Windows XP Home will never connect to a "domain" in Active Directory.
