Hi everyone,

I currently have Windows XP Home on my computer, but I need to install XP
Pro because I want to purchase Visual Studio.NET 2003, and it requires IIS,
which will not run on XP Home.

My question is, if I buy XP Pro and install it, will it wipe-out everything
that is currently on my hard drive? Or will it install without harming any
data or programs that I currently have on the drive?

Help is very much appreciated!

Thank you,
Anthony

As always, be sure you have a complete backup of your needed files JUST IN
CASE.
If all goes well, there should be no problems on installing Pro over Home.
But as you back up everything anyway, do it one more time before you add Pro
My documents, favourites, cookies, Outlook .pst files, pictures, music, etc
etc.
