Switch Between Windows (3D Desktop)

I love the Switch Between Windows feature of Vista. It runs from the
quicklaunch bar or from any copy of a shortcut that I create from it. My
question is this: where is that shortcut pointing? I imagine it runs a
command or dll or something. I just want to know what it runs or opens.

Nowhere in that link did I find an answer to my question. If it really IS
there, please give me more to go on than a link...tell me where in that page
