Download IrfanView...it plays .swf files very well.

You need the Shockwave Player, free from Adobe (www.adobe.com). There is no
"flashwave". It sounds like you have the Flash Player installed but not the
Shockwave Player you need.

The ActiveX web install that everyone says to install is only good for
viewing Flash pages on websites. To view a Flash file stored on your
computer you have to install the full version of Adobe Flash.

First run the Flash uninstaller, then install the msi.
