Because you open un-solitated E-mail attachments and don't have an up-
to-date Anti-virus running
Never open un-solitated attachemnts, even if it appears to be from a
friend. Most virus's come from someones infected computer that has your
address in the address book. Usually the infected user doesn't even know
that they have been infected. SWEN.A takes this one step further by
picking a random name from the address book and inserting it in the
"From:" field of the e-mail so you can't even tell who actually sent you
the virus.
You got SWEN.A because you opened the so called "Microsoft Secutiry
Patch". Note that major companies such as Microsoft NEVER, EVER send
patches out by e-amil unless it is in response to an Tech Support call in
which case you would be expecting it.
