swen a emails

hi, i use yahoo as my email service and i keep getting
emails that say they are from microsoft, they look real
and are re: security patch or last update. well i didn't
download, but i did scan the attachment's with norton and
it found the swen a worm in all the attachments, i get
about 15 emails a day. i have blocked them in yahoo,
yahoo says the address has already been blocked and they
just keep coming, sort of like relatives for the
holidays. is there anything else i should be doing. i
have norton firewall and av. i have downloaded the
patches and i have scanned for the worms and none are
found and also have used ad-aware and spybot. thanks for

You are getting those emails because you used your actual
email address when posting. None of them are from
Microsoft. Bots go out and search for email addresses and
then spam them. That is what happened to you and as well
as me not too long ago. Never put down your primary email
address on these boards. Microsoft suggests entering your
email like this... username(removethis)@isp.com. If
someone wants to email you, they can just remove the text
and the email is valid, but bots will have the wrong
address. Or just make a Hotmail account and have the spam
sent there.
