Introduction

The SWAT series has come a very long way and reached new heights in the past couple of years. The series first appeared in 1995 as a simple strategy game entitled Police Quest: SWAT which didn't receive rave reviews. 1998 saw a short sequel to the series which really didn't do much better than its predecessor. It wasn't until 1999 that the SWAT series was transformed from a typical strategy title into a full-fledged 3D tactical shooter with the introduction of SWAT 3 ....
