svchost.exe

Hi

I recently noticed a process running in the task manager named "svchost.exe". I know it´s normal to have a few of them running, but i´ve looked in other computers and none of them as this process with more than 7.000K. I always have one with more than 15.000K

I´m having too much problems with my internet cable connection, and i´ve been alerted by the company that this process may be the cause of that problems. So, i´ve tryed ending that process and it works!! When the connection goes down, I end the process and the connection returns. When i can´t send files by MSN Messenger or Mirc, i end the process and it works! When i can´t connect to P2P programs, i end the process and it works
I also noticed that when i end the process, i have a faster speed browsing the web and faster file transfers

I´ve already tryed running anti-virus twice, even in safe mode, and it didn´t detect anything. I also tryed running anti-spyware programs but that process keeps appearing

I have another problem, when i end that process i start having problems with the normal function of windows. It starts having errors

Does anyone knows what is happening??

I consider my system fairly "normal" and have four svchost processes
running,
one of which takes over 15MB.
