SVCHOST.EXE

I have a Dell Dimension 2350 P4 2.0ghz 256 RAM running XP
Home (OEM) SP1. No 3rd party stuff starting up at boot.
Perfmon shows the processor pegged at 100% constantly.
Processes shows SVCHOST.EXE using anywhere from 70 to 85%
of the CPU all the time. This can't be normal?? Is it??

you have a virus, get a good av program with uptodate
virus definitions.
