I am having problems with the file svchost.exe

It seems to slow my system down, every time I try to
access the internet. My whole system is slower than
before. It access 99% of resources.

I ran anti-virus program in safe mode and ID'd 3 viruses
that my software had missed...but nothing has changed. I
run Norton AV.

I see that others have this problem to...is there any
solution?

Hi,

Chances are that you may have deleted the original problem, but not the root
cause. Most viruses return if not properly cleaned (and simply deleting the
executable rarely is the only thing you need to do). At a guess, I'd say you
have a variant of the welchia bug, you should read this:
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.welchia.worm.html
