svchost.exe problem help

Hi
Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Winows xp service pack 1- Pc shuts down with a
message "remote procedure call service generic fault"
caused by svchost.exe.
I have seen a fix for win 2000 but not xp.

Ya, Thanks for looking around alittle before posting

If the computer is constantly rebooting, quickly go to:
Start > Run and type: shutdown -a , and hit enter.

This should halt the rebooting problem. (Thanks Nicholas)
