Svchost.exe error

HELP!! Anyone that can tell me how to fix this error
message. Svchost.exe has generated errors and will be
closed by windows. You will need to restart the program.
This has been coming up that last two days and when it
does I can't even log out of the net. It slows everything
down. What do I do?
