svchost.exe and helpsvc.exe

Just installed Zonealarm. I keep getting alerts about processes
trying to get access to my network's DNS.

Looked in the Program section and find two processes which I have not
allowed access named svchost.exe and helpsvc.exe.

What are those 2 processes? Seem to recall that one or both may be
malware. If so how do I remove them from the system?
