svchost error

I recieve an error after I have been connected to the
internet for a short period of time. Saying that svchost
has incountered an error and the program will need to be
restarted. This is occuring on a fresh install of Win2000
with no other programs installed. Therefore no other
software could cause this so why is windows causing this.

Please post any help or ideas.

You were probably connected long enough to get a worm / virus.

If you've not got up-to-date anti-virus software running on your machine,
