Hi,
I understand that you want the SUS site to listen on port 8080 instead of
default port 80.
Please note that in the current version of Software Update Service, the
clients query for updates only on port 80. This cannot be changed. However
the SUS admin port can be changed.
Please visit the following FAQ. Scroll down to the "Server Information"
section and answer to the similar question can be found.
Q: Can SUS work with ports other than Port 80?
A: SUS 1.0 only works when configured to use Port 80, and the Automatic
Updates component on the clients are only capable of communicating with the
SUS server on that port.

I hope that answers your query.
Thank you,
Rashmi

| I've installed SUS on my 2003 server box. I know that all admin of
| the SUS is through IE. Is it only possible for the SUS site to listen
| on port 80? I have another site on my box using port 80 and I get an
| error message saying they can't both use port 80. I've tried to set
| up the SUS site to listen on 8080 but I am unable to access the page.
