SUS server and Active Directory OU's.

I have configured all of the settings for my SUS Server.
My goal is to have SUS run only for a selected group of
users, so I created an OU and created a user in that
container.

Group Policy Object settings have been created for that
OU, however whenever I log in as that user on a machine
(Win 2000, SP4), the update does not kick in.

If, however; I change the local policy on this machine to
point to the http://susserver then SUS runs.

My question is this: How do I get SUS to be applied via
a GPO to the newly created OU (organizational unit) and
only to that container (being the user created within).

Am I missing something... do you need more information?

You cannot use user accounts for the SUS GPO, only computer accounts.

I suggest making all computer names loosely based on user's names. For
example John Smith's computer with asset number12345 could be named
"smithj-12345" This would make it easier to identify computers with the
people who use them most often. If multiple people use them, maybe use
group names or department names.
