Is there any way to suppress a subreport in a report when there are n
records? I have report that is a combination of several subreports.
The first page of the report is a summary of each of the detai
reports. The subreport are the detail report which each hav
different source data. The problem come when there are no record
for a particular subreport. I end up with a blank page with jus
the report title in the middle of the report. I try putting a tex
box in the footer of each report so that when the record count = 0 i
would display "No Records" else” ". This didn't work either. I
there any way I can just suppress the page

To suppress a subreport that has no data, set the Can Shrink property to Yes.
You might also want to set the Border Style property to transparent. These
are properties of the control on the main report that holds the subreport
(not the subreport itself).

Thanks Tom for replying. I did what you suggested but I'm stil
getting a blank page. The blank page is printing the header and th
footer from the main report which I need to print on all the page
that have data. I also need the footer because the footer i
printing the # of # pages. What I would like to happern is that th
report skip any subpages that don't have any data at any give tim
and count only the page that does get printed

You might be getting a blank page because the page width of your report
exceeds the allowable width for your layout format? For example, if you have
Portrait mode with 8.5" x 11" paper, and your left and right margins are each
set at 1 inch, then your report cannot exceed 6.5 inches. If it does, you
will generate a blank page for each printed page.

If you still cannot get it fixed, I'm willing to take a look at the problem
if you send me a zipped copy of your database.

Thanks again Tom for your replying. I did everything you suggeste
and then some but it’s still not work. Unfortunately the database i
connected to a SQL Server; therefore I don’t believe I can create
zip file. I’ll keep working at it, and hope to get it to work befor
my deadline. If you have any other idea or suggestions please let m
know. :cry
