Supress dialog box for missing linked file

I have a monthly Excel report file that links to an auto-generated Daily
Excel file. The monthly file contains cell references to cells in the daily
files. If I run the Monthly file on the 15th of the month, Excel asks me if
I want to update the links, I answer YES, then it asks me where the file is
for the 16th, 17th, etc. I have to click on the 'Cancel' button on the
dialog box 15 times. Is there a way to supress this - tell Excel that I
know the file is not there, and it's OK ?
Thanks!

I don't think so.

You do have a few options, though.

Only add those formulas that refer to the daily file after the daily file is
created. (Maybe keep them text and change them when you need them to be
formulas.)

Or keep a bunch of dummy daily files--but make them so that they don't cause
damage to your formulas (all 0's or empty cells???).
