Suppressing Repeating Values

How can I suppress repeating values in an Access Report?

I have pulling multiple records for each individual and
have set the "Hide Duplicates" property to "Yes" for each
detail field. However, it also hides the first event for
the next individual in the list if it is the same value as
the previous individual had. How can I get it to show it
once for each individual?
