Support of Windows 2000

Could someone tell me whether Microsoft is planning to
discontinue support of Windows 2000. If so which platform
do they expect users to migrate?

Win2000 is still supported...
and will continue to work even if Microsoft eventually drops the support.

As far as which OS to migrate to?
As far as Microsoft is concerned...it does not really matter...
just as long as you keep buying a new MS OS every few years...
they'll be perfectly happy !
