I have a certain problem with my acces database
when I setup a query I want to select only count of a category.
example

i use 4 objects in the category.

laptop/workstation/tft/crt

i want to know how much laptops i have and i want these in a repor
what i can print and send by mail.

i also want to have an automatic check so i can see how much computer
i have in stock and when it is to low example
4 computers is minimum amount
-2
so I must order 2 computers.

i want this report send automaticly to email

Dependinig on your table structure, your query should look somethin
like...

SELECT Count(YourTable.YourField) AS Totals, YourTable.YourField A
Models
FROM YourTable
GROUP BY YourTable.YourField;

I've attached a simple example.

How do you enter your data? Do you import it or manually input? Eithe
way, the query will automatically calculate the totals

how much laptops i have
that i can make a rapport so what i can see how much of category
have
create a form so i can add en remove easily a laptop

and i need to have a auto count so you can see automatilly by mail
if you still have enough laptops

You can import information from Excel, as long as you have the correc
data in the correct columns. ie
