Hi,

I try to install East Asian Languages but after I checked the box, click
Apply button and inserted the CD Windows XP Home Edition (SP1a), it gave me
this error message:

The file 'jxis.nls' on Widnows XP Home Edition CD-ROM is needed.
Type the path where the files is located, and then clicke OK.

It looks like it's a defective CD but I tried someone'else CD (XP Hom) it
still gave me the same message.

I searched in Help and Support Center on the computer, it seems a very
straight forward process.

I bought this computer from Dell several years ago and had to resinstall the
Windows. It never occured to me this is a problem. Called Dell support and
they are clueless.

Any help is appreciated.

thanks.

Some XP releases miss support for Far and Middle East languages. Browse
your CD, and find \I386\LANG folder. Are there any files inside?
