Can any one tell me if this soft ware is safe to use. Something came up on
windows defender about it having unwanted something, couldnt find the message
again to get it exactly.

It's a really good program by Nick Skrepetos. I use it. The Defender
message is about letting it, or it's drivers, start with Windows. Nick
hangs out a lot in the alt.privacy.spyware group.

Definitely safe to use. Great and efficient application and outstanding
support even for the Free version!!

SAS have high exposure on many security forums such as Wilders, CastleCops,
Spyware Warrior, etc.

SUPERAntiSpyware is one of seven (7) applications listed on Spyware
Warrior's trusted/recommended applications list:
http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm#trustworthy

They also have almost 500,000 (it fluctuates between 400-600K) references in
Google
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=superantispyware

And have nice ratings on Download.com here:

You can't get wrong with this one!

....and subscribe to the newsgroup as suggested by ---Fitz---.

Good luck :)

From what I have researched on this ..."superantispyware"
program by
Nick Skrepetos I would say that it seems to be quite impressive. While
there were some issues 8 or 9 months back, Nick was openly concerned
and jumped right in to fix the problems....

Although it still runs a bit slower than some other scanners, the fact
that it stops and removes or kills some programs( SpywareQuake.
Spysheriff )that other scanners can't seem to touch, overcomes the
slowness. That is the impressive part.
