[snip name], we are still digesting the acquisition but I think it's
fair to
assume that the 2.15 version will be available.

Kind regards,

Question/Comments/Suggestion:
Following Sunbelt Software's aquisition of Kerio Personal Firewall
will
version 2.1.5 still be available for download? This version is
nominated for an award (see
http://www.pricelesswarehome.org/2006/PL2006SECURITY.php#0409-PW)
which
it will not be eligible for unless legal free downloads are continued.
Sunbelt's pending aquistion of KPF has created some question
concerning
whether it should be removed from nomination.

This earlier version suits the needs/desires of many people for home
use. I personally am very satisfied with it and wish to suggest
Sunbelt
make it available for download from it's site or authorize third party
freeware distribution of KPF 2.1.5.

Rather than speculate on the various reasons many people favor this
version for at least one home computer, I will state my belief that
continuing to make it available for free home computer use would
favorably influence decisions to purchase current full KPF versions
for
home or business use.

That's really, really great news Alex!

This version is supposed to contain a fragmented packet weakness. I
use it and the XP firewall together and I've never had any problems.

This is a very slim and capable program that gets high marks here in
[alt.comp.freeware]. I recommend it highly to others outside the group
as well.

The later versions of Kerio have bells and whistles that I don't care
for (bloat, in my opinion). v2.1.5 is stellar!

Let me just state that I just moved from KPF4 to this version. My Windows XP
Home startup time is very noticeably quicker.

Do you have a link for v2.1.5?
