Hi All,

I have an worksheet with lists of data, like this:-

A B C D E
6767 10 5 6 7
6868 1 10 5 4
6565 75 25 1 9
6767 1 5 75 20
1234 4 78 69 54

What I want to do is sum the figures in colum B where 6767 appears in column
A. so from the above I would get 11 as the result

Any Ideas??

Cheers

Mark

an addition
=SUMIF(A2:A99,6767,B2:B99)
if column A consist of numbers
Frank

use SUMIF(A1:A5,6767,B1:B5)

if that fails try putting 6767 in quotes.
