Summing 2 fields in a query

I have a query that creates a table with 2 currency fields COD1 and
COD2. Generally, there is no value in COD2 since 99% of the customers
pay in one payment. The rest pay in 2 payments.

I need to total those two payments for a report that shows total paid
and balance due.

How do I sum the results of 2 fields into a third field?

SumOfFields: CCur(Nz([COD1], 0) + Nz([COD2, 0))
