Summary Slide button in Slide Sorter view?

I try to make a summary slide, but the button is not activated, why is this?
I select slide sorter view, click on the slides I want to include in my
selection, and then I am supposed to click on the summary slide button, but
it's not active?

Sarah,
The Summary slide is a little bit picky about which slides it picks up. If
it runs into a slide that doesn't have a title, it stops (or in your case,
becomes unavailable). Same if the title has a comma in it. I think there was
one other punctuation piece that did it, but don't remember.

If you want to use summary, but don't want to have titles show on the
slides, put the title placeholder back, put in your title, then drag the
placeholder off the visible part of the slide.

However, Bill Dilworth has created a solution that might work better for
you. Check it out here:

(Creating a linked summary slide is one of the things this nice little FREE
tool does for you.)

Are you holding down the Shift or Ctrl key when you select the slides? Are the
Hide Slides and Rehearse Timings icons active?
