sumif function

i am giving following data.

Date Description Amount
1/2/09 Mobile bill £50
3/2/09 Lycatel (mobile) £10
3/3/09 Rent £200
4/2/09 service (mobile) £5

i need some of amount which contain word "mobile" in description. what i
need to do.

Assuming you have data from row 2 to row20 ;;please try the below formula

=SUMIF(B2:B20,"*mobile*",C2:C20)
