Subweb & Registration / Tools->Server Greyed out [FP2002-SP3 WindowsXP-SP2]

Hi,

I have created a subweb. Now, I am trying to add registration.
When I do, it gives me the "Cannot run the FrontPage Server Extensions on
this page:...".
I have fiddled with the placement of the Saved Results as per
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;320872 .
Unfortunately, I haven't had any luck. I may have problems elsewhere.

The directions tell me to: "Change the permissions for the target sub web
using
the Server command on the Tools menu. Make the permissions unique for the
target sub web, and change the User access controls so that only registered
users may enter."

Well, the Server command is greyed out and the Tools->Websettings, says "No
server currently in use".
I have tried this on both the Server Computer and development Computer to no
avail.

I am a bit confused. I set up the website a long time ago. I can't really
remember what server I used.
I think I just used the standard Microsoft or Frontpage Server.

TIA,

1. If you are using the FP Registration Component, your site must be hosted on a Unix/Linux server.

2. You can only set permissions on the subweb/ subsite on the live/remote server, if the host allows
you the option to set permissions. If you have access to the Windows 2000/2003 server as Admin, then
you would need to configure the FP2002 extensions to allow this option.

I'm just hosting on an XP Professional machine.
I noticed something when reading the "Username and Password" post.
I am able to open the remote website subweb. Now, I can see Server in the
Tools menu. "Microsoft-IIS/5.1"
I then did that on the Server Computer. So, I click on "Permissions" and
"Administration Home", and a dialog box comes up.
I enter name and password, but it's not working. I've tried
"192.168.0.1\Name" & "66.75.136.57\Name" to no avail.
I believe that should work. I entered the Name and Password in the
Microsoft Share Point Adminstration tool.
Is this also because it is not a Server Machine?

Thanks,

You can run a "server" for testing on Win XP Pro under IIS and the FP 2002 SE
(Windows Control Panel Add Remove Programs Windows and add IIS)
For the FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions Support Center see:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;en-us;fp10se

1) Download FP 2002 Server Extensions:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnservext/html/fpse02win.asp
English ones are at:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/FrontPage2002/fpse1002/1/W98NT42KMeXP/EN-US/FPSE1002.exe
2) Download FP2002 Server Extensions Updates (and install in this order):
http://download.microsoft.com/download/FrontPage2002/fpse1001/1/W98NT42KMeXP/EN-US/fpse1001.exe
http://download.microsoft.com/download/FrontPage2002/fpse1002/1/W98NT42KMeXP/EN-US/fpse1002.exe
3) Install the Security Patch at:
