Subtotals Formatting Question

I hope this is within the realm of this group (I will eventually use a macro
to do it)

I have a report that I perform a subtotal on and what I would like to do is
bold the Totals row for each total.

What I tried to do was click on the [2] showing only totals, select them and
click bold but when I go back to the full view, everything in between is
bold.

Is there a way to only bold the visible totals so that when I expand back
out only those rows are bold?

Thanks

Charlie

After you select the range
hit ctrl-g (or F5 or Edit|Goto in xl2003 and below)
then special
then visible cells only

And then do the bolding.
