Subtitles in WMP?

Hi group.

OK, if i place a subtitle file in the same folder as my .AVI file,
Windows Media Player will play the movie with subtitles.

My app has the WMP add-in on the form. It plays videos based on what I
have told it to do. However, it is not picking up the subtitles file
automatically. Does anyone know how to do this? Is it even possible?

Thanks in advance.
 
Cancel this. I realised that I needed to install ffdshow codecs to get
it!
