Subsort To-Do Bar Outlook 2007

I have tried unsucessfully to create subsort of stock Start Date view of
To-Do bar tasks by category, so that say red categorized items are always on
top for today. Any ideas? Thanks, Fred
 
you can't sort by category - you could group by category, either as the top
level group or in a subgroup. If you want to see just the red category
(assuming it is call Red Category, not Client1 category colored red) you'll
need to filter the view.

So not possible to have Arranged by: Start Date, show in groups checked, but
have categories subsort. I want to preserve the groupings of Next Week,
Tomorrow, Today, but for Today, have the to-dos sorted by category. Whenever
I goto custom I lose the Today, Tomorrow, Next Week groupings. Thanks, Fred
