Subreports and totals

I have a tough one, or I at least I think it's tough. I
have a report that has three subreports. The subreports
total within themselves and the report takes those totals
and adds them together. Everything works fine.

Here's the catch.

If I change the subreports 'CanGrow' property to no, it
doesn't add up correctly. If I change the 'Visible'
property to no, it doesn't work. I want the subreports to
not take up space on the report, but hiding or shrinking
them does not work.

Any ideas?

I do not understand why you would have sub-report(s) but
you do not want to see them nor take up any space.
If you just created the subreports for the Totals, why not
do that in a totals query and include them in the report.
Now, the other issue why "can grow" affects the
calculations I have no Idea.
