Subnetting

Presently I'm using 192.168.0.x with subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 on my
network. I 'm looking into spliting the network into 2 networks/subnets
located in the same building. What would be the best way for this to be
done? If so would I need a router?? I have a DHCP server and have about 7
servers that users access with static 192.168.0.x ip addresses. How will this
afect users access to servers??? Help anyone??? Thanks

Perhaps we should first ask ... WHY are you subnetting? What do you hope to
gain by this process?
