submit button to e-mail address doesn't work

Hi, I have a form with a submit button that sends an email to an smtp
address. The server extensions are loaded and have been configured for email
and the form used to work before I edited it with FrontPage 2003, but when I
click on submit I now get a message telling me to install FrontPage Server
Extensions. Properties of the Form gives me the message "this form cannot be
configured to send results via e-mail ... would you like to remove the e-mail
recpient" (note: I am not using the save to a file feature for the Form
Properties as I do not want to).
Help!

If you just want the form to be sent to an email address it's available by
right clicking the form/ form properties...

the awkward warning you're getting on the local copy is because you're
working on a disk based web and FrontPage is trying to "help you", just
select "no" and don't remove the email address.

do you have a URL for this form?

Hi Chris, I did select the "no" to removing the email address but it still
doesn't seem to work. I'm worndering if it's an issue with the form
originally being edited in FrontPage 2002 and me re-editing it in FrontPage
2003. The URL to the form is:

http://www.atl.co.nz/docs/CreditReq.htm

P.S. I know it's an UGLY page, but it's just an interim change before the
new site gets developed.

Thanks for your help!

Try reinstalling or repairing the FP server extenions on the server.

I personally do not like using FP/SE for sending email. Very inflexible.
A better approach is to submit the form to your processing page that
uses ASP or other scipting code and send the email the way you like it.
If you are innterested in this, do a google search for "sending email
with ASP" for examples.

Hi guys, thanks for your help. It turned out to need a re-load of the
extensions before it would work. Cheers!

That's great Rik,
I didn't see anything wrong with the form when I checked that pages source
code.
