Subject: error msgs on Java scripts

Trying to access certain sites and I am told to change the Java scripts to
Medium or below...have done that, as well as downloaded the Java 1.4.2 and
still have the issue...any thoughts?????

The other thing I was thinking to try was to delete IE6 alltogether and
download it from Microsoft?...any thoughts??

Hi Brian :)

What version of windows do you have? If it is XP, you can't
uninstall/delete IE, as it is a core part of the XP program, and you will
lose your Windows.. However, you can reinstall it over itself, or repair it.

Uninstall Javascript from "Add Remove Programs" in control panel,
then download it from www.java.com and reinstall it.

Sometimes there's a corrupt file in the cache and one must go to Tools |
Internet Options and click Delete Files.

Download msjava from another website.
Install the msjava
Go to windows update an get the current msJava update.
Uncheck use Sun Jave in Control Panel>Internet Options>Advanced
tab. Reboot.
