Hello,

I am working on Access 2003.

I have been setting all of my date fiels on my forms to default value "Now()"
however, on my SubForm it doesnt show the current date in Form view. Instead,
I still have to type the date.

Is there a reason why the current date doesnt automatifally show on the
SubForm as it does on my main form?

Thank you.

A Default Value will not automagically create a record; the defaults are only
applied when you "dirty" the record by entering something in some OTHER field
on the form. Are you doing so?
