WHEN A NEW RECORD IS SELCTED ON THE PARENT FORM THE SUBFORM how does the
subform get refreshed?
 
The settings that control, or "restrict" the sub forms record to only the
"many" side of the relation are set in what is called the

LinkMaster field, and the LinkChild setting.

If you right click on the sub-form and view properties sheet, you will see
the setting used. In fact, a sub-form is really only a sub-form contorl, and
is not the actual sub-form.
