Subform only displaying one entry at a time

Hello. I have a subform containing a query which shows bookings made in a
given week. There are multiple bookings in a week but only ONE will be
displayed. Although the next booking can be viewed by clicked a 'next' button
on the form, I need all the bookings to be displayed in tablur form.
Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
Thanks.

Hi John,

Open your subform by itself in preview mode. It should open in datasheet or
continuous forms mode. You can verify this by opening the form in design
view. Click on View > Properties, if the properties dialog is not already
displayed. Make sure the name of the form is displayed in the blue title bar
of the properties dialog (you can click on the small black square in the
upper left corner of form design to select the form). Select the Format tab.
You will want the Default View to be either Datasheet or Continuous Forms.

Hi John,

Does the subform shown on the weekly bookings tab include entries in the
properties that read: Link Master Field and Link Child Field? If so, the
subform is likely being filtered by the primary key value of the record on
the main form.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunatly that did not solve the problem. Here are
some screenshots of the possible areas of problem.

Thanks for the further advice. Unfortunatly though I cannot find Link Master
Field or Link Child Field in the properties (I have looked on everyone of the
things in the top drop down menu)

Ahh! sorry i have found it. I had to click on the window it was in. Completly
seperate to everything else. Both master and child have "Booking Number"
selected. Should this be removed / Changed ?

Hi John,

Try this article that I wrote. Althought it doesn't deal with the problem at
hand, Figure 5 shows an example of how to determine the name of the subform
container. The Link MF / Link CF is shown on the data tab:

Glad you found it!

I would think that it will need to be changed, not removed. If you remove
the Link MF / Link CF fields, then the subform will display ALL records, not
just records filtered for the current week.

I think you are going to need to use a query for this subform, which
includes a criteria that points to the main form to get the current week.
Does your main form include a date field?

Sorry i suffered a powercut and i think it may of effected my previous reply!
I did find the properties containing "Find Master field" and "Find Child
Field". They both have 'Booking Number' Entered in. Should this be removed or
Edited?

It is already working off a query that filters the dates to the current week
(which works correctly independant of the subform - which just adds to my
confusion!)

If that's the case, then try removing the Link MF / Link CF values. If the
query returns the correct records by itself, then you don't want to apply any
additional filtering with Link MF / Link CF.
