Subform on Tab Page

Hi all

Sorry for the probably very simplistic question but can you create a subform
on a Tab page? I have developed in Access for years but never actually used a
Tab control before so totally new to me!!!

At the moment I have a form where users enter their daily itinerary, this
needs to generate an expense form (where relevant) and I wondered if the best
way of doing this might be to put an expense sub form on a tab page? Either
that or to press a button on the main form to open an expenses subform which
is linked to the Itinerary. Just want to keep a nice friendly user interface.

Any advice welcome...

Thanks
Sue

Yes you can. I do it all the time. Not only that, you can put different
subforms on different tabs, or the same subform specialized with different
record sources. Something Microsoft invented that actually works great. Good
luck!

Thanks...

I created a form and then dragged and dropped it onto the relevant Tab page.
It didn't automatically detect as a sub form so I manually entered Link Child
and Master
fields (ItineraryID). When I open the form though and click the Expenses tab
I can see the outline of the subform but its blank, no controls showing and
record selectors are greyed out so I can not create a new record. Is this not
the way you do it?

Thanks
Sue
