Sub forms with no relationship

Tony Williams

For a number of reasons to do with our procedures I need to create a subform
that is based on a table but has no relationship to the main form. Is this
possible? can I have a form where the Master and Child fields are blank?
Thanks
Tony

Surely that's something you could try without having to post a question,
Tony?

My apologies Allen, this database and the users constant requests gave me a
bad day yesterday and I'd lost the will to live! Yes you're right I should
have tested it and I did this morning and it seems OK I created a blank form
and added my subform and it seems to work OK. I do have another form which I
have have to base on a table that is different from the subforms table table
and I just need to see if I can get that to do the same thing.
Sorry for my impetuous post, it was a bad day yesterday, but hey they come
and go and today the sun is shining so all's well!
Regards
Tony
