Sub Form Not Visible

I have a form with a sub-form enbedded withit. It's a one-to-many
relationship. When I click the view button I see the details. This is ok.
But when I click the design button, all I see is a white screen with the
name of the table that it's linked to. I want to ses the design details.

What do I do to make the details of the sub-form visible?

Ed,

This happens when you go to designview from the main form. If you
doubleclick the white subform you should be able to see the subform details.
You can also close the mainform and then open the mainform in designview
straight away without opening it in formview first that way you would also
see the subform in designview right away.

Opening the form in design view doesn't open the sub-form in design view; I
still see a white subform.

Ed,

Now I get it. You've probably created this form using the wizard. When so
you based this on a primary table which has a many relationship. In that case
Access wil define an automatic subform for you but actually what you get is a
table in datasheetview. You can bypass this by creating your own form. Select
the Many table and create a form with the wizard. Paste this in your main
form and link it by the PK and FK. Remember though that designview for a
datasheetview doesn't exist.
