sub form doesns't allow new additions of records

Martin

Hi,

I have a sub form that doesns't allow new additions of records.

The allowadditions of both form(parent and child) is set to true, all the
others also(allowedits, allowdeletions).

I have admin rights. So I have all the necessary permissions.

I'm using Access 97. Using WINXP SP1.

Opening the subform as a seperate form lets me add new records, but when I
use it in the main form I can't add any records.

What is left for me to do?

TIA,

Martin.

Please post the SQL view of the subform's Recordsource query, and the
master/child link fields. Normally this has to do with a
non-updateable Query - if you open the subform's query in datasheet
mode is it editable? What error message do you get?
