Styles and AutoText

I'm using Word 2003 SP2 and every time i create / save Styles or Autotext,
when I close word and re-open all the syles / Autotext i created are gone.
One thing i have noticed is that I have workgroup and user templates both
defined (Different files and locations) in the file locations window. One
user only has user templates defined and styles and Autotext are working
fine.
Any ideas?

When you create styles or AutoText entries, unless you are explicitly saving
them in a specific document template, they are saved in Normal.dot. It's
possible that your Normal.dot is not being saved (or is being wiped by some
corporate voodoo); this is extremely likely if you also have Acrobat 7
installed. If that is the case, see the last part of

Search your entire system, plus both these template locations, for copies of
the Normal.dot template. Do you find more than one?

If yes, then chances are the changes are being saved in one copy, but this
copy isn't being loaded. Strange, I know, but that's something Word does...
