Style Formatting Changes with Reviewers

I modify styles in my document to suit that document. When certain users (not
all) open the document styles display as they should. When certain other
users open the document the style formatting changes i.e. HEADING 1 -
modified to show numbering. One of the other users opens it and it has no
numbering? Can someone help me on this issue, please, I have trie dmany ways
to fix it.

Have the user who's having problems go to Tools | Template and Add ins and
make sure the option "Automatically update styles" is unchecked. Others
probably have better suggestions, but that would be a good starting point.
