Style Area Width in Outline View

I am currently using Word 2002 and I set the Style Area
Width in outline view, I go to another view and go back
and the style area is gone and it has to be reset. If I
set it in normal view it retains it even if I close the
document but not outline view. If I set it in normal view,
then the view is retained in outline view. Is there any
way to retain the view in outline without setting it in
normal?

Hi George,

Strange: I don't see that, neither in Word2002 nor 2003.

Have you installed all the latest updates?

If that doesn't fix it, I can't think of a better solution than the obvious
one: Change to Normal view before you set the style area.
