My computer mysteriously shuts down, I haven't figured out
why, but after it does the time is set back one hour. I
found these things in the Admin Tools:

The time service is now synchronizing the system time with
the time source time.windows.com

The system time was changed.

The time shoudn't be changing at all.

Thanks

So is your machine set for the correct time zone? How about the Daylight
savings time setting?

Start - Control Panel - Date, Time, Language & Regional Options - Date &
Time - Internet Time........do you have "automatically synchronize with
an Internet time server" checked? Maybe that is the problem?
